There are also some environment variables that can be used for development and debug purpose:
MOTE_PLAYBACK_FPS=5.0 can be used when running MOTE on video files to control the playback speed.

MOTE_OUTPUT_FORMAT=xml|objects enables prints of the generated scene. 'xml' will print the scenes in xml format while 'objects' will print the count of objects in the scene.

MOTE_STORE_XML=yes with MOTE_OUTPUT_FORMAT=xml set, will store each scene as an xml file.

MOTE_STATS=1 is used to print MOTE statistics.

MOTE_OUTPUT_IMAGES=all|objects|none controls creating images with scenes visualized in them. 'all' will create images for all analyzed frames, 'objects' only creates images when there are objects in the frame and 'none' will not create any images.
